Porticos Asia was engaged by Smart Meter to reverse engineer iGlucose, a blood glucose monitoring device which uses narrowband IoT technology to transmit blood glucose readings taken by the patient.
iGlucose uses blood glucose measuring technology developed by Bionime of Taiwan. So having successfully completed the industrialization phase which involved developing new plastic injection tools and modifying the PCBA Porticos produced iGlucose in kit form for delivery to Bionime for final assembly with their blood glucose measurement modules.
