Privacy Policy

1. DEFINITIONS

“Porticos Asia” and “we” as used herein refer to Porticos Asia Limited.  Porticos Asia operates and administers the website “www.porticos-asia.com” (the “Website”) through which certain services are delivered (the “Services”).

“You” and “User” as used herein refer to all individuals and/or entities accessing the Services for any reason or any purpose.

“Usage Data” is used herein to refer to data collected on how the Services are accessed

“Contents” is used herein to refer to all or any of, as the case may be, information, data, content, analysis, news, reports, programmes, photographs, pictures, graphics, video, audio, software and other materials and services, communications, transmissions and other items, tangible or intangible.

We pledge to meet fully, and where possible exceed, internationally recognized standards of personal data privacy protection, in complying with the requirement of the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. In doing so, we will ensure compliance by our staff with the strictest standards of security and confidentiality.

3.1     Collection of Information

3.1.1  Usage Data

When you visit our website we may collect Usage Data. This Usage Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Website that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

3.1.2  Tracking and Cookies Data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Services and we hold certain information. You may choose not to receive promotional materials, by simply telling us, and we will cease to do so.  We do not use your personal data for any other purposes without your prior consent unless such use is permitted or required by law.

In your dealings with us, we retain records of your online transactions for as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. Should you prefer that your personal data be not kept by us, please let us know and we will remove your personal data from our record after the specified purpose for which you provide us the data has been attained.

Whilst we strive to protect your data using commercially acceptable means, we should remind you that no method of internet transmission is 100% safe and therefore we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

If you are located outside of Hong Kong and chose to provide us with your personal information please note we store and process your data in Hong Kong.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

11. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our Website does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Please note that this Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time.  Notices regarding amendments will be posted at Porticos Asia’s website to inform you of the effective dates of the amendments.  Amendments will not have retrospective effect.
